1. What Zinat is and what it is used for
Zinat is an antibiotic used in adults and children. It works by killing the bacteria that cause infections. It belongs to a group of medicines called cephalosporins.
Zinat is used to treat infections of:
throat
sinuses
middle ear
lungs or chest
urinary tract
skin and soft tissues.
Zinat can also be used for:
treatment of Lyme disease (an infection that is spread by parasites called ticks).
