Description
DOXIUM is shown for:
microangiopathies (damage to low-flowing blood vessels), especially diabetic retinopathy;
symptomatic treatment of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities: leg pain, heaviness in the legs, edema, stagnation, dermatosis, paresthesias, sensory disturbances or itching in the legs, cramps;
concomitant treatment for superficial thrombophlebitis (occlusion of a superficial vein); treatment of hemorrhoidal syndrome, microcirculatory disorders of arterio-venous origin.
Dosage
Adults only
The recommended dose is 1 capsule daily.
The dose should be adjusted individually according to the severity of the case.
The duration of treatment depends on the disease and the response, and can be from a few weeks to several months.
